Down those old ancient streets
Down those old ancient roads
Baby there together we must go
Till we get the healing done
Till we get the healing done
Till you're satisfied with your life
Till you're satisfied with your life
Till you're satisfied with your life
And it's running right, and it's running right
Till you deal with the poison inside
Sometimes you've got to sit down and cry
When you deal with the poison inside
Till we get the healing done
Till we get the healing done
Till you feel the tingle up your spine
Till you're satisfied and you're mine
Till you feel a tingle up your spine
Till we get the healing done
Till we get the healing done
Till you live in the glory of the one
Till you live in the land of the sun
Till you feel like your life has just begun
Till we get the healing done
Till we get the healing done
Till we dwell in the house of the lord
Till you don't have to worry no more
Till you open a brand new world
Till we get the healing done
Till we get the healing done
Till it makes you feel alright
Till you're satisfied with your life
Till you know you live in the light
Till we get the healing done
Oh till we get the healing done
Till you look at the mountains every day
Till you wash all your troubles away
And you live right here in the day
Till we get the healing done
Oh till we get the healing done
Oh till it's truth and it's beauty and it's grace
Till you've finally found your true place
Till you know your original face
Till we get the healing done
Oh child, till we get the healing done
Oh when everything's going right
Till you're satisfied with your life
Till you're living in the light
Till we get the healing done
Oh till we get the healing done
Oh when you feel it, when you feel it in your soul
Baby, and you really know
That you reap just what you sow
When we get the healing done
Oh till we get the healing done
Till you know that it's working every time
Till you work it out in your mind
And you know it straight down the line
Till you get the healing done
Oh make no worry till we get the healing done
Oh we gonna go back, back to our favourite place
Oh look at it again
See it all through different eyes
When we get the healing done
Oh when we get the healing done
Oh we're living for the grace of the lord
Baby feel so good about it all
Oh give thanks every day
Till we get the healing done
Oh till we get the healing done
Till we get the healing done
Oh baby, baby till we get the healing done
Till we get the healing done
Baby you got to stay
Till we get the healing done
If it takes to the break of day
Till we get the healing done
Till we get the healing done
Till we get the healing done
Till we get the healing done
You got to stay all night long
Till we get the healing done
Down those old ancient roads
Baby there together we must go

Meh. Kinda done with Van Morrison. Early stuff will always be classic, his later stuff sounds kind of plodding to me. Or like my crazy neighbor standing in his backyard yelling at his cats.

After the vaccine was introduced, virtually all Covid patients in hospitals were the ones too stupid to get the vaccine. As they died, of course they asked for the vaccine, but guess what? Too late.

Might want to look a LOT closer to the numbers now. TB is still the only disease a mask will be standard PPE for, for 4 hours (iirc), and only if sterile, put on once. Otherwise all one does is prevent infection by stopping larger droplets from falling into open wounds. "Spit Shields" is what EMTs often call them. Now nearly everyone getting sick, long versions, and repeated cases are vaxxed, boosted, and dealing with "Suddenly" health issues. Now no one trusts anything from these people and it is hard to blame them. the mRNA vaccines are a travesty and I see class actions coming, even though they were "protected" from liability as part of the push.

1. Masks are scientifically proven to stop the spread of infections, that's why surgeons and medical staff have been using them in hospitals since the 1920's.
2. COVID-19 vaccinations are scientifically proven to be the safest and most effective way to prevent severe, long-term and hospitalization for COVID.
3. What we now know, is that counties & states that rejected mask-wearing and vaccines (lowest vaccination rates) have the highest death, ventilator, and long-term COVID infection rates as reported by the hospitals & health departments of those states.
Thank you for your sanity.
After the vaccine was introduced, virtually all Covid patients in hospitals were the ones who bought into the anti-vax nonsense. As they died, of course they asked for the vaccine, but guess what? Too late.

DoctorHooey is about to find out what really went down. We're very close now. I do wish him and the others peace of heart and mind.

To this I will add that if religion and piety help people to be kind, thoughtful, helpful, honest, and respectful of other people regardless of their race, creed, beliefs, identities or orientations, then it is a-okay by me for them to pursue their belief system. I don’t want proselytizing, because I am clear and satisfied with my beliefs.

GTT, if you are going to go trolling on RP, be prepared to be challenged. Let’s start scrubbing away the funk you spilled: 1. Cite your sources and 2. what are your credentials that qualify you to spout off on medical topics?

GTT, what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

"get the healing done" says the anti-masker. Sure, Van.

RP you did have better programming in 2019...too repetitive....of bad singers like Morrison's yelling, squealing and pushing ....

I really like his voice & his music!! I totally AGREE with you about the COVID!
Please play less Van Morrison. It would be interesting how often you play him. I have to turn off RP several times a day because I can't stand him. That's because of his voice (bleating goat) and his deliberate endangerment of the people who went to his concerts during Covid.

We need a cure for religious faith.
Always love Van big time
Beautifully preached in the blues
Thanks Van
Always been a good listen; and, in so many places.
What a great song!
He has been putting out one LP a year since 67 and not a bad one in the bunch (IMHO). How does he do it?
Not necessarily my favorite song from this disk, but overall this is an excellent and probably overlooked VM album.... well worth picking up if you're a fan. There's a great remake of "Gloria" with John Lee Hooker also.

Rulebritannia, I think you are a deviant when it comes to timeless musicians...I have read some other of your comments..IMHO

Hi everybody. Couldn\'t think of a better song to post my first comment in RP! Van Morrison is one of the few real geniuses out there still recording wonderful stuff, after all these years. Go Van!!!!!
Truly music for the soul. Amen brother.
Van is timeless as is is Dylan.

Two sides of the same coin if you ask me.
I remember an interview in which Van was saying that listening to Dylan inspired him to continue his career, when he came to a point that he was really fed up with the whole music business. He also called Dylan the greatest, still living poet.
