Psychedelia your parents (or grandparents) would like.

Yeah, but it must have been a bad memory.......

Even a bong couldn't rescue this experience.
WTF?
Had to be there, I guess.
See the dictionary entry for "dated".

All things considered, I'd rather hear "Listen to the Flower People".

Me too, too many people now can't sit still for more than 2 minutes a song looks like.
Who gave the Jefferson airplane valium?

I expect you really had to be there.  And really hammered.

First time ever hearing this. Not a great piece of music, but without it, boundaries would not have been pushed. Thank you, Bill and Rebecca, for being brave.
Oh how far we've come.
Not liking it.  Too ponderous.

My girlfriend says, "what the hell, Bill?"
(Well, she WAS my girlfriend.)
Probably good for nostalgic purposes but it's a bit tedious.

Thought I was having a flash back when I heard this.... actually, I was, sort of.

First time I have heard this in 40 years, easily. Great job of finding this one, Bill.

Thanks for sure.  I was wanting to upload this myself, but haven't been able to find in on my old puters.

Instant 10, but I loved this when it was new.  1967, one of the best years in music, ever.

My guess was Alice In Chains at the beginning—something about the vocals...

Do bands still write songs about their favorite literature?
sail away, white ship.  sail away.
Wow. This is bad.
New to me, dirge-like psychedelia:

"The centerpiece of the album, however, was the Edwards—Michaels—Cavallari composition "The White Ship", which was based on author H. P. Lovecraft's short story "The White Ship". The six-and-a-half-minute opus, which featured baroque harpsichord passages, droning feedback, somber harmonies, and the chiming of a genuine 1811 ship's bell, has been described by music historian Richie Unterberger as having a "wavering, foggy beauty, with some of Michaels' eeriest keyboards." The song became something of an underground FM radio favorite and was also issued in an edited form as a single, although it failed to reach the Billboard Hot 100.

Not my cup of tea, but such is life in eclectic radio.

not digging this one at all.
I kind of heard some Beautiful Day in this in certain parts. Then I looked at the release date and realized why I had never heard of them.

It's been a really long time since I've heard it. Still sounds good.

This song is pissing me off...
What is this? Interesting. Never heard of them.
