Wow. Stunning, thanks for the share
Head and torso so stationary in contrast to the legs. Just WOW!!!
Yes. If you notice, his feet don't actually leave the ground. He's just moving his heels up and down, and knees back and forth. It's still amazing even knowing that.
its always fun to sing chorus but you gotta have goooooood ears

Indeed, that dancer's performance is "How is he doing that? Making it all so fluid looking" good? That's some tremendous physical skill right there.

Moved it up from a 5 to 7 after watching this. Lol

Nice share. Zaouli: traditional dance of the Guro people of Western Africa.
So that was a bit like someone posting a Texan dance on the page from an Alaskan piece of music... Weeell - it's all America isn't it?
"Why please, there is no CARLY SIMON played ?
I would like hearing."

If you really don't like a track rate it low and keep the negativity to a minimum! I like this!

As I was saying to my Sherpa as we crossed the top of the Annapurna ridge before starting the long descent into Mustang, half stoned on best Pokharan weed and sipping his brother's Chhaang... Well I should have invited you on my car journey today as I wasplaying this Album with Max volume all day... Such a wonderful Album..and Thanks to Bill & Rebecca for airing it saves going back to my car tonight ,.
Great to know that there are still (a few) people with some humor. Brits, of course - Americans have nothing much to laugh about these days, I guess!
I share your love for this album! 100%
I feel like I hear this at least 2 a day on RP.

Totes agree!!!
I hate to agree, but yes.
You hate to agree...?
Why is that? Because I dislike Floyd?
OR is it "because I black"...?
Only AC really... at a nice steady 220v. Always a bit of a luxury here on the African continent.
I hate to agree, but yes.
Beautiful song. Never heard before. Cannot understand why this can be judged as "boring".

There, I corrected your sentence. How could anyone claim that this song is played a lot on RP? Of course, for some people once a year is too often. I happen to side with the majority who like this song, play it as often as you like RP.
I guess it has to do with 1962! And I'm 4 months older......Peace Bro
I'm back in a thatched hut somewhere in tropical Black Africa tossing back beers.
This one doesn't get much white traffic, if any at all, but as we settle back and share a few laughs with our host, the 'bar' relaxes into the mood of these visitors are all right and a big joyous grin of This is the way the RESPECT should always work.

I believe that should be "Paul Simon reminds me of this"
Cranky pants needs to pee out his yellow morning coffee and take a nap. Geez. What on earth could possibly be wrong with this?
It is played a lot...
A very enjoyable album, all the way through. Love me some Tuku Music!

jehahn you have an elbow song rated as a 10. That pretty much nixes your right to complain about how often a given band plays on RP. Of course by that note I have to quit whining about Tori Amos ... nevermind carry on.
It sounds like you've been having a really bad day? I think Mtukudzi's music is not played often enough. I'm sorry it doesn't help your mood.
Oliver Mtukudzi plays regularly in my area, and he (and a number of other Zimbabweans)add incredible flavour to what would otherwise be, very drab & repetative western influenced local music. For those who have enjoyed this track, look out for Devera Ngwenya, Bundu Boys, Thomas Mapfumo and others in this "tshikaranga" genre.
Great stuff, thanks!
Adding my whole-hearted agreement to those already registered! This is a large part of what makes Bill a true Master of his craft.
Chester French isn't so bad! :)
thanks RP
love the world music selections....
the guitar is so beautiful.
Saw Oliver and his band at the Austin City Limits Festival in '05.
My favorite of the bands I'd never seen or heard of before.
RIGHT ON!!!!!
