I wanna shake
I wanna wind out
I wanna leave
This mind and shout

I've lived
All this life
Like an ocean
In disguise

I don't live forever
You can't keep me here

I wanna race
With the sundown
I want a last breath
I don't let out

Forgive
Every being
The bad feelings
It's just me

I won't wait for answers
You can't keep me here

I wanna rise
And say goodnight
I Wanna take
A look on the other side

I've lived
All this life
It's been wonder
Full at night

I will live for ever
You can't keep me here

7 ~ for the Lyrics...

*MAiD
the thing that grates on my nerves is the way he makes his voice all warbly. and it doesn't sound like a normal vibrato or whatever it's called. it's super annoying and almost sounds like he needs to clear his throat or gargle or something...or maybe he is part goat.
GREAT TUNE!!  Thanx RP!

Listen... Eddie's being awful.

This is Alvin, post puberty.

Sorry I just don't get it - this would be a track to skip on my play list.
The sonics do nothing for me.
OMG PSD

You are a repetitive hater.

Stick this guy on a faraway island with Billy Corgan to see who can out-lame whom.....bloodyfookinawful!
Shouldn't there be a singing contest on TV just for goats like this? He does try so hard, after all...

1/18/16 edit: the drumming and music are actually pretty cool tonight. Must get that singer some lessons, though. Madrugada's "Hands Up- I love you" comes after this tonight. This is how you should do it, Eddie.

Terrific song.  Sorry folks if you wanted them to have put out another Alive, Jeremy or Even Flow.  The boys needed to challenge themselves.
Please make it stop ">

I'm with you on that one.
his voice is boring. the music's boring. but I like looking at him, he's hunky :-)

This is complete rubbish - (I'm switching to somafm for a few tracks at least) - It would help if the playlist looked ahead a few tracks so when Bill allows crap on to the airways we know how long its gonna be before he gets a grip!
I have no interest in knowing what's next on the playlist. Being surprised, happily or not, is a big part of what I like about RP.
Brilliant transition from QMS to this, Bill. That said, this is the perfect example of why I don't follow PJ anymore. As 5 as 5 gets. Rarely goes anywhere, semi-catatonic, and Eddie's barely audible.
I was a big PJ fan from the beginning till about, oh, their 4th CD. Still love some of their older stuff and things like 'Footsteps'. Haven't really listened to them since then. I kind of like this one??

Typically, that's the sign of an accomplished band. Certainly one with some musical talent and diversity. I'm not the world's biggest PJ fan. This one's just ok for me.

maybe in your part of the country you can hear some tracks from Ten on mainstream stations, but in the Pac NW, hearing PJ on the radio is quite a rarity

You know, I actually like this. Not my usual response to Pearl Jam.
I hate to say it, but these guys have just NO idea who they are as a band. every song you play by them sounds like a mish mosh of different genres, sounds, musical styles..its really just kind of terrible. what is this? marching band music underneath like stadium rock guitars, and van halen like solos blech
Please I can turn on any rock station in the Country and hear Pearl Jam, the most over-rated band in the last 15 yrs.
Pearl Jam = the greatest rock band of the last 15 years! I've loved them ever since I first heard them and they've been great everytime I've seen them live!!
I attended an "unplugged" Pearl Jam concert about 1.5 years ago and Eddie sang this song with no backup; it was just him and his ukelele it was amazing. that version is on the Live at Benaroya Hall CD, which is well worth a listen.
i cant keep from listening to pearl jam!! yeah!!

What an EXCELLENT beat. WIth a back beat like that, you can't really go wrong. I have never listened to the lyrics, but just know that I love the song. I suppose that sounds pretty dumb, but the song definitely rocks.

Hoo boy, RP can do no wrong tonight!
One of the better Pearl Jam tracks I've heard...
Great song / album. I saw them play at the Woodlands Pavilion in Houston . If you get the chance, check them out live. They don't disappoint.
I wish I couldn't sing like Eddie Vedder. Seriously, he has an interesting voice, and it complements PJ's style very well.

Weren't you paying attention to the lyrics? That's what he was singing about. He "Can't Keep" from bearing down in an attempt to drop a deuce. :D/

Same sentiments here.

I like the instrumental backing, so far.
At last, something "new" from PJ. Never one of my favorites but this song hooked me.
Bummer on the comments here...Riot Act is a sweet album. I would love to hear more from it :) Sean

I really wish he would quit singing into that fan

i keep waiting for this to turn into a zeppelin cover, but it never does...
Pearl Jam just can\'t be hip can they?
Yet another PJ song. What has it been, 30 minutes? Getting to the point that they all sound the same. Not much range. If you must subject us to so much, how about more of the old songs like Black? This one is pretty non-climactic!
Vocal is painful.
so damn good. RP has made me a fan of PJ once again. before hearing Riot Act, Yield, and Binaural tunes here, I hadnt listened since i first got into them in 91. too bad mainstream radio completely burnt them out in the mid-90s.

First Bill plays a cut that I consider great and definitive Michael Stipe, and then one I consider great and definitive Eddie Vedder. Great cuts from great artists and in both cases....Voila : great controversy, great brouhaha. Great-\"utterer-of-over-ratement-statement\"-statements. Why is Bill playing Pearl Jam in spite of low ratings ? Perhaps because his taste is better than average.

The music remindes me of another, much better, song by The Breeders.
