Wow. Few songs annoy me as much as this.
Brai honna day! Ho-a wonna wonna wonna BRAY HONNA-DAY!
How often I have said that very thing to myself while munching endlessly into great orbs of gloob.
I was working until the call came in--FREE HAM AND EGGS! I rushed over, but there was nothing. Nothing!
Twas OK until it picked up
Huh. Trance on RP?
These guys have been listening to early Brian Eno. For sure. At least until the disco beat starts up anyway

It is the same woman, it's taken out of a Joni Mitchel (?) interview... Or another female singer/songwriter from that era...

lovely voice
wheres the disco ball?

I really like this, love all the little rhythms/sounds going on and love the ethereal vocals (even though I have no clue what it's about). Makes me wish I was living in Indonesia again, cruising through the palm trees/rice paddies in the thick warm tropical night with a sky full of stars...
"Brai honna day! Ho-a wonna wonna wonna BRAY HONNA-DAY!" How often have that same thought during the day.

Great! Thanks! Now that's what I hear!

Now that we have that one cleared up, the next burning question is: is it "P Loafmaster" or "ploaf master"? ;-) I applaud your applause of freely commenting. I do not, however, applaud this song. It offers nearly nothing palatable, and normally I'm a sucker for anything with a Latin groove. Lo siento mucho.
Heh heh heh...it's PLOAF master. And as for what the heck a PLOAF is, I believe I posted a rather inane journal entry about it some time back, if you want to check it out...

Isn't it the same sample? I wasn't listening too closely, but it sounded like it was...
Quite likeable

With this and other negative commenters, I mostly agree. But parts of the song I kind of like, the parts with a good drumbeat. For me it is a mix of bad and good, and that creates an internal conflict! What I don't like are the sound of crows or some other birds, the screechy parts of vocals, and the "tranciness"--Is that a word? And would someone please tell me whether "shoegazer" is the very same thing as "trance" music???
Badbadbadbadbadbad.
This reminds me of The Orb's "Little Fluffy Clouds" for some reason. Except the speaking part is less obnoxious.
Good beat! Woke me right up! Never heard of this band before.
Love them !

Apparently there wasn't a chorus in that song - or at least no words to it - see here...
I had to double-check that this was indeed RP I was listening to.

ROCK! You've got the point, man. Just because this station is ecclectic, there is no rational sense in being accused of "closed-mindedness" just because we don't respect a song or post a pleasant comment about it. Sheesh! If we're allowed to rate a song, "Sucko-barfo," shouldn't we be allowed to elaborate without being attacked? This is an opinion board, and as long as nobody makes PERSONAL attacks, I say post whatever you want about a song. And by the way, unless you WROTE the song that's playing, don't even try to say you're personally hurt because somebody says it's dribble from a donkey's butt crack, like I want to say about this song. 2.
Well said, and exactly right. Unfortunately, there are a few on this board who take it as a personal affront if you should happen to dislike one of the artists they slavishly worship. I won't name names, but you know who your are. :?
Way too trancy.

The point of RP is that, even when they play one song you don't like, they follow it with fourteen you do. Where on the radio dial does THAT happen? Then again, people are eclectic just like music, and where would we be without whiners?

So hit your mute button already, and stop whining! Some of us (obviously not all, from the posts) LIKE Banco!
Eclectic is good, but can we at least ban the "regurgitated cliche electronica crap" genre? StevenQ wrote:
I thought the nice thing about radio p. was that they are ECLECTIC. Apparently we have someone who wants to put techno on the banned substance list. I'm sure everyone here has some genres they aren't too fond of. Lets just ban everything and listen to dead air time. It will be dull, but at least it won't offend anyone.

The nice thing about music like this is that it allows us to have something to judge good music by. If there was no bad music how would we know what is good? yin/yang et al.

You made me smile at that. Rarely do I find a post on a board that I think I might have written and forgotten about. You have the same slightly smart-ass, lighthearthedly sarcastic humor that I do.
What we in the biz called a "bathroom break-er"...fills the time while we do other business, which is what this song brings on. No.
moments of this song reminds me of the B-52's! BTW I like techno myself.

a few pseudo techno songs mixed with a huge variety of other stuff does not a techno station make.

What it is, is Ambient-techno! Pretty nice ambient dance track. ____ __ __ :goodvibes: _:goodvibes: __ ~~~~~~~~~what it is, Billca42. What it is....
