Fire walk with me
Tight as I can be
Bruise my weary soul
Flames now take control

Fire light the way
Burn the night to day
Bake in afterglow
Everywhere I go

You're on fire
Higher and higher
Living in a fever dream
Feeling that fire walk with me

Fire in the sky
Burning ball of light
The heavens are ablaze
Flames are like a maze

You're on fire
Higher and higher
Living in a fever dream
Feeling that fire walk with me

You're on fire
Higher and higher
Living in a fever dream
Feeling that fire
Give up every thought
Feel that fire walk with me

Cool tune- has a hint of Kenny Loggins Footloose
Awesome stuff from the boys from Akron. They are so consistent!  Saw them a few years ago live with St. Vincent opening up. She was interesting, but these 2 blew us away. Pleasantly surprised! YES!
Time will tell how good these guys were. Heads and shoulders better than most bands from this generation.
It stomps, it swaggers, it shimmies and rocks.  All the cool kids love it!
Very effective … love it the Saturday morning with my coffee in the Swiss alps when kids still sleeping 😉
I love these guys!
Damn fine stuff!
Excellent!
All that fuzz...anyone got a lint brush?
I love how he almost gets to a The Guess Who's "American Woman"-level of intensity with that feedback-tweaked guitar of his! Drums JAM, too!
Mellow tone across a punched intro with the underlying tension pacing with the beats in a graphic statement of pulsing every where the go Rhett .,. Higher space. glory I’d just around the corner, don’t quit, (sure we wanna wit) but please don’t quit. We’re all worth it !

This is the first Black Keys I have been able to enjoy. Their songs are good, but the extreme lofi distortion mix has been unbearable sand in my (g)ears. I spent my career designing high end audio and audio media manufacturing quality control, distortion is not cool. I'm amazed it doesn't seem to bother most listeners. Anyway this is much better.

I hear that but my appreciation of their sound has evolved with my system. Odd how something sounds good in one place then bad in another superior system. With a lot more clarity, I now really enjoy hearing through the distortion. Some of my evaluation tracks are like that. Love the BKs and this song. Time to buy it in hirez or maybe get qobuz if they have it.

You guys might want to try RP streaming with the FLAC option if you're not already. I love the low-fi grittiness of BK -- real rock that reminds me of sweaty, loud bars with people jammed in sloshing beer and whisky on each other.
Oh good, it's that one Black Keys song with the fuzzed out guitar and vocals!
The Owls are not what they seem

Nice segue from Chrissie Hynde, who is also from Akron, Ohio.

Man, this whole album gets better and better. I didn't have this cut in heavy rotation. But that's a fixable problem.

I was about to post similar.  I finally got this album and I have been killing it!  It's great, way better than a lot of their recent stuff.

Some of the energy and guitar riffs are reminding me of Gary Clark, Jr.'s remake of "Come Together."
Long live Twin peaks!

As is the album title.  First line spoken by the dwarf in the famous red dream scene.

That would be nice; there's no Dexter Romweber on RP yet.

A virgin song. Far out. The more Black Keys the better.

And I'm happy to provide the first comment reply on this one - my initial rating stands for now; my 8 rate on a new track indicates that I like it more than a little.  This one sounds suited to road tripping, cruising at 70+ mph, windows down...now I have another reason to look forward to the warm weather again....LLRP and short live the fall/winter season in the PNW!!
A Twin Peaks reference?
Orbison popped in to say hello.  I like this.
A virgin song. Far out. The more Black Keys the better.
