Good back & forth here but, my own "peeve" about the RP rating scale is,...there is no such thing as "Godlike"! There is only one God and, pretty sure the ratings system has little to do with God.
Now, I can't speak for bimmerfan739 and why they have an 8+ system.
However, I use a 7+ system and my logic is that I only need a record of songs that I like - you're damn right that there are many 1-6 songs out there, but I ain't gonna be looking them up for listening ideas and they don't form part of my RP favourites channel.
Also - there's usually a bunch of folk who like the songs, so why poop on their enjoyment? That gets me and the world no further forward!

And yeah - the mystery thumbs-downers... What's that all about??

Delighted to finally hear Carsie played here. I am a patron and think she is such a delightful musician, so I am really happy that she has found her way to my favourite music station.

I don't know why someone would not like them? However, I am ready to hear those opinions with open arms and I will express mine back without anger. Only seeking understanding of another opinion.
If the arrangement is different then what you consider good, great, right, wrong, could of been better musical arrangements, open to that opinion too.
I like different music for different reasons. Some for the lyrics, some for the beat, some for the amazing orchestrations, some because they remind me of a memory, and million other reasons too.
Music is art for individuals who appreciate individuals. I don't really understand wrong or right in art. As long as the art is not preaching hate.
I do know for sure as long as I have a song playing through a speaker, or I can sing one out loud, or I can sing one in my head, I'm gonna be alright. Through anything.
So that is what this song is to me. Hope. A reminder: Always, always turn into hope and away from fear.
