Popular slogans and a bucket of paint
Supercomputer on a jolly crusade
Massaging your forearms, holding your gaze
Stealing your thunder, washing your brain
Trying not to wake up sleeping dogs, just because
You're a lonely little hall of famer

Tonight is heavy on one side, sort of like
A set of cherry red and white loaded dice
You've got something on your mind, and so have I
I can see it from here, oh-oh-oh

Ten years later, it's been a decade
Coming together in a suitable space
Mystery boxes from which you cannot escapе
Sticking your neck out in a spiritual way

Tonight is heavy on one sidе, sort of like
A set of cherry red and white loaded dice
You've got something on your mind, and so have I
I can see it from here, oh-oh-oh

Alternate realities sneak up on the sly, the way I know you like
Please, don't fall in love with everything on opening night
Flashback to infinity, just one more time

(Tonight is heavy on one side)
Tonight is heavy on one side, sort of like
(A set of cherry red and white)
A set of cherry red and white loaded dice
(You've got something on your mind)
You've got something on your mind, and so have I
I can see it from here

Thought it was a David Bowie track I'd not heard yet! Very likeable indeed.

I don't think this sounds like David Bowie at all. But the vibe is very different from previous Arctic Monkeys. Softer... Haven't made my mind up about it yet...

Wow!  I just won the RP lottery.  First to comment on this new release!
I recognized the voice of the lead singer, Alex Turner,  instantly, even though the more "relaxing" melody initially threw me off.  I like it!  A solid "8" from me.

Nice.  I thought it was Brian Ferry and a Roxy Music song I hadn't heard before
this song was apparently released two-ish weeks in the future

The number "2" in the album name HELP(2) is a reference to an album released by the organization War Child which is named The Help Album. HELP(2) is a charity album created by the organisation War Child in order to raise funds for their work involving helping children living through war.

Okay on the first listen, but anyone else hearing a strong depeche mode influence especially at the intro?

The guitar riff is very DM!
