I had a client here a while ago, and when she left, I pulled back my comforter and cover sheet to straighten them out, and dozens — maybe hundreds — of tiny red spiders scurried haphazardly around on my bed! Most of them escaped before I could swat them with the copy of the Bible on the nightstand in my hotel room... I can't get a new room until checkout time tomorrow morning... I am so scared to go to bed! What should I do? Are tiny red spiders something to worry about?

Social media offers brain sex-like reward; Posting on Facebook offers a rush

NY Daily News
May 14, 2012
Creating social media posts of self-disclosure produces a response in the region of the brain associated with dopamine, a chemical associated with pleasure or the anticipation of a reward, according to a recent study.
Posting views on Facebook and other social media sites delivers a powerful reward to the brain similar to the pleasure from food and sex, a Harvard study concludes.

The study led by two neuroscientists and published this week concluded that "self disclosure" produces a response in the region of the brain associated with dopamine, a chemical associated with pleasure or the anticipation of a reward.

The researchers said most people devote 30 to 40 percent of their speech to "informing others of their own subjective experiences" but that on social media, this is closer to 80 percent.

They conclude "that humans so willingly self-disclose because doing so represents an event with intrinsic value, in the same way as with primary rewards such as food and sex."...

New Zealand researchers predict brothels will offer robot prostitutes by 2050

staff writers for News
April 18, 2012

IN the future brothels will serve-up robot prostitutes offering clean, guilt-free sex, say researchers.

The prediction was made in a research paper examining what the sex industry will be like in the year 2050.

Ian Yeoman and Michelle Mars of the Victoria Management School in Wellington, New Zealand, wrote about an imaginary brothel in Amsterdam's red-light district called Yub-Yum.

The research paper titled Robots, Men And Sex Tourism describes the brothel as being "modern and gleaming with about 100 scantily clad blondes and brunettes parading around in exotic G-strings and lingerie", io9 reports...

There are already people who are in love with their fake people. I guess this is the way of the future, everyone will be so afraid to have a real relationship with a person, they will just stay home with their fake one and watch porn and get off with their doll.

Sounds...lonely.

I just washed the feet of one of my clients— she had phenomenally dirty feet— and then we had incredible sex... afterwards, she went in the bathroom here at my hotel room, and then she left... I just went in the bathroom, and to my shock, the toilet has hundreds of tiny orange worms wiggling around in kind of brownish water, and there were strange oval black bugs with some sort of tentacles swimming around on the surface— does anybody know what this means????

It means the acid kicked in.
